healing naturally
Charlie, let's see if I have this straight.
Osteoporosis has the need for calcium to be introduced in to the bone. There are other minerals, from magnesium to boron needed to help with this in the actual bone itself. But, in order to get calcium out of the intestine and to the bone one needs Vit. D. But, vit. D requires bile in order to be metabolized properly. Without bile to interact with the Vit. D first, the rest of the chain of building bone doesn't happen.
So, is it safe to assume if a person has low Vit. D levels, in spite of taking Vit. D supplements, that it is a pretty good sign that their liver isn't working up to full speed? Is it also safe to assume if someone has osteopenia or osteoporosis, that they also have a liver issue, assuming that they don't have an overactive parathyroid or some other blatant hormone imbalance?
Thanks for your input.
