When I used to work as a truck driver (sitting down a lot), I had a pain that wouldn't go away until I changed my sleeping position or adjusted my bed (I don't remember), but that pain probably didn't last even a month. I've had other back problems that come from sitting in a chair that is one or two
inches too tall. But this might not be a back problem at all, maybe by sitting wrong, you pinched a muscle or blood vessel that irritated your pelvis or prostate or even a urology problem. Cross reference some of these other forums, especially "ASK AGNES & BOB" and "ASK LILLIAN". It might not be a bone problem, it might be that an organ is pressing on the bone. I had some back pain caused by a lack of bowel movements. There were times when I didn't eat and my digestion would slow down and even stop. When the digestion stops, so do the bowel movements, and all of the undigested food in you presses against the backbone, so ask on other forums and gather clues, it might be hard to get an accurate diagnosis on-line, but be persistent.
