The Symbolic Pinecone
May represent the pineal gland, which is known as the third eye---the gateway to the higher self or soul.
In the Vatican there is a large statue of a pinecone. The scepter the pope uses has a pinecone at the top. But they were not the first to use this symbol...
Sufficient similarity exists between the Masonic CHiram and the Kundalini of Hindu mysticism to warrant the assumption that CHiram may be considered a symbol also of the Spirit Fire moving through the sixth ventricle of the spinal column. The exact science of human regeneration is the Lost Key of Masonry, for when the Spirit Fire is lifted up through the thirty-three degrees, or segments of the spinal column, and enters into the domed chamber of the human skull, it finally passes into the pituitary body (Isis), where it invokes Ra (the pineal gland) and demands the Sacred Name. Operative Masonry, in the fullest meaning of that term, signifies the process by which the Eye of Horus is opened. E. A. Wallis Budge has noted that in some of the papyri illustrating the entrance of the souls of the dead into the judgment hall of Osiris the deceased person has a pine cone attached to the crown of his head. The Greek mystics also carried a symbolic staff, the upper end being in the form of a pine cone, which was called the thyrsus of Bacchus. In the human brain there is a tiny gland called the pineal body, which is the sacred eye of the ancients, and corresponds to the third eye of the Cyclops. Little is known concerning the function of the pineal body, which Descartes suggested (more wisely than he knew) might be the abode of the spirit of man. As its name signifies, the pineal gland is the sacred pine cone in man--the eye single, which cannot be opened until CHiram (the Spirit Fire) is raised through the sacred seals which are called the Seven Churches in Asia.

From the Bible the single eye, third eye (pineal gland)
Jesus says, if your eye be single your body will fill with light.
Christians say he is telling us to keep focused on him, I am saying that Jesus is saying to activate the Pineal Gland in meditation.
First of all, when Jesus says if your eye be single your body will fill with light, how does the Bible define what God is and what light is?
Numbers 23:19. God is not a man
So this entity we call God is clearly defined in the Bible as non-human.
1 John 1:5. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
Here the Bible clearly identifies God as a light being. A photon of sorts.
So then we could turn that statement of Jesus concerning the single eye to read like this.
Matthew 6:22. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore your eye be single, your whole body shall be full of God.
I am connecting the single eye with the Pineal Gland. The Bible connects God with light.
The Pineal Gland is the light receptor of the Body.

On January 6th, traditional religion celebrates Epiphany, which is the enlightening.
The word roots from the word epiphysis.
When you look in the medical dictionary you will see that the Pineal Gland of the brain has another name. It is called epiphysis.
So now we understand what the enlightening truly is.
The stimulation of the Pineal Gland by the sun energy rising from the lower part of the body.
Celebrating Epiphany and Christmas is to make it a part of your body and mind. To make it a part of your existence.
To celebrate Christmas perpetually is to take part in the rising of the sun energy within you, to sit at the right hand allowing it to bring you to new life and new understanding.

They were able to witness to the Resurrection, St. Thomas says, because after his death they saw him alive, "oculata fide." Oculus is the Latin word for "eye." Oculata fide means "faith that has eyes."
Perhaps it is something like the "third eye" spoken of in Eastern religions. Anyway, I have translated it as "the discerning power of faith." The disciples may have lost hope in Jesus after he died, but they never lost their love for him and their faith in him. And it was this love and faith that gave them the discerning eye that enabled them to recognize him, when others could not.

Illuminati:
The “all seeing eye” on money…
http://www.conspiracyarchive.com/NWO/All_Seeing_Eye.htm
The top of the Great Seal pyramid shows an eye-in-triangle, which has been associated with Sirius, the Eye of God, the pineal gland, and the Illuminati.
What the Serpent promised Adam and Eve, was that their knowledge would be broadened, if they ate of the forbidden fruit... But the most foreboding aspect of this scriipture emerges from the fact, that the Hebrew word for "eyes" is not plural, but singular.
What the Serpent actually told Adam and Eve, was that their "eye" would be broadened by knowledge. The "eye" that is not the physical organ of sight, but the eye of the mind or soul.
This singular "eye" is called the "third eye" of clairvoyance in the Hindu religion, the eye of Osiris in Egypt, and the All-Seeing Eye in Freemasonry.
***Note that the eye above the pyramid on the $1 bill, is that of "man", replacing the eye of Horus / Osiris or "man playing god" in the seat of power. Is Daniel writing prophecy here? Of the rise of the United States?
What is the Third Eye and why should Christians know about it.
First let’s look at Wikipedia:
The 3rd or Inner Eye - A metaphysical opening which refers to the 6th chakra (brow), that leads to higher consciousness. A new age symbol of enlightenment.
Okay… so the Third Eye is a psychic ability connected to the occult. Dictionary.com defines occult as knowledge of secret or supernatural powers, beyond the the range of ordinary senses, or secret/hidden information only available to the initiated.
Next we need to know how one “opens” this Third Eye. The main way that one opens himself up to the spirit realm, is through meditation. It is through meditation that one achieves an altered state of consciousness. Constantly you will find that meditation, or the emptying of one’s mind, is the doorway to all metaphysical activity.
Back to the 6th chakra. The chakras usually relate to yoga, but not always. The 6th chakra in yoga is the brow. When kundalini (serpent power) rises to the the brow, there is enlightenment that is characterized by light. Those using yoga as a means of enlightenment get results by meditation, forced breathing patterns and using unnatural positions to force the power at the base of the spine upwards with the crown chakra as the main goal.
Another way enlightenment occurs is through meditation and visualization. Certain techniques are used to “see” and direct the serpent power up the spine through the chakras (nerve centers/wheels).
Here is another descriiption. The kundalini rises and then goes into the brain and then down into the pituitary gland which awakens the pineal gland. When they meet there is union. This is an initiation of the birth of passage into another dimension and beyond. This is supposed to cause an explosion of light.
The third eye is also known as:
The middle eye of Shiva in Buddhism.
In Hinduism it is the eye of clairvoyance. This Hindus wear the Tilak. The red spot between the brows. When i was researching my Goddess Worship post, i looked at a link, describing Christian women who have been applying the red spot on their forehead and worshipping each other’s divinity.
In Egypt it is known as The Eye of Horus or the Eye of Osiris.
In Freemasonry, it is the All Seeing Eye. The same one that is found on our one dollar bill. This All Seeing Eye is surrounded by light.
But the eye usually means the same…esoteric knowledge that man so desires. This eye represents the passing into a spiritual world than man has no business entering.
In Genesis 3:5-7 For God doth know..then your eyes shall be opened and ye shall be as Gods…knowing Good and Evil….And the eyes of them both opened.
The Hebrew word for eyes is not plural but singular so what the serpent said was that their eye would be broadened by knowledge. scriipture here is not talking about the physical organ but the eye of the soul.

***Is the pineal gland, the ‘seed,’ the Philosopher’s Stone?
One of the common points of Pagan worship is their common symbol for eternal life, the Evergreen, both bush and tree. Further, the Pine Cone is revered because it is the "fruit" or the result of the Evergreen. Since all people of all ages wish to live forever, the Evergreen and Pine Cone have been powerful, and ancient, symbols of Eternal Life.
Let us now examine the various Pagan groups that have utilized the Pine Cone in their ceremonies, their rituals, and their art. Once you study this list, you will be in for a great surprise in that the Roman Catholic Church utilizes the Pine Cone, just as any good Pagan religion would do! This fact is further firm evidence that Roman Catholicism is Pagan, not Christian. In fact, we would say that Roman Catholicism is counterfeit Christianity, with Paganism as its beating heart.
Pine cones are common in Roman Catholic architecture and sacred
decorations.

"Roman Cult -- The bronze hand, to the left, dates from the late Roman Empire, when all forms of divination from scrying to astrology, flourished. The hand bears the symbols, such as a cockerel's head and a pine cone, of the Roman mystery cult of Dionysus. Worshippers of Dionysus would work themselves into a frenzy, in which they might see visions of the future."
["Mind & Magic", by Francis X. King, Crescent, Great Britain, 1991, page 150] Notice the Pine Cone on the thumb of this hand. I find it very interesting that the Pine Cone is closely associated with this particular cult, whose emphasis was on divination, sex orgies, and fortune telling.
This picture is of a Mexican god holding a pine cone and fir tree, symbols of rebirth and the sun.
This pine cone staff is a symbol of the solar god Osiris, Egyptian Museum, Turino, Italy. Osiris originated in Egypt, where he was their Messiah, who died for the good of his people, and whose Mother, Isis, was worshipped as the Virgin Mother. Osiris was the Egyptian counterfeit of Jesus Christ!
This picture is of the Assyrian winged god with a pine cone, representing power of regeneration. Traceable to Tammuz of Babylon. Most Paganism in history is traceable directly back to Tammuz of Babylon. His mother, Semiramis, was the first Virgin Mother in world history, predating the birth of Jesus Christ by over a thousand years. Did you know that the Roman Catholic practice of making the Sign of the Cross originated in Babylon as people paid homage to their Messiah, Tammuz, who "died for the good of his people". People would constantly publicly demonstrate their love and adoration for Tammuz by making the sign of the "T", or "t". Isn't this a clever move by Satan? He knew that Jesus Christ would die on a cross that could be thought of as a "t". Therefore, Satan was able to transfer the sign of the "t" for Tammuz directly into the Roman Catholic Church, as people thought they making the sign of the Christian cross. Tammuz was the Babylonian counterfeit of Jesus Christ.
This is Bacchus the god of drunkenness with a Pine Cone staff. Pagans love to drink prodigiously and revel in getting drunk. Therefore, we should not be too surprised to learn that Bacchus is celebrated as looking forward to eternal life even as he is busily getting, and staying, drunk. Have you noticed that the Roman Catholic Church has been battling drunkenness and addiction in both their priests and their adherents. Further, Catholic countries like Ireland, France, and Italy have always been known for their love, and consumption, of alcohol.
This is Dionysus, the Greek god, carrying a pine cone staff as a fertility symbol. Children are always looked upon as extending the life of the human species. Therefore, it is predictable that the Pine Cone should be linked to the new life of the conception of children.
This is the pope's staff with a pine cone, the ultimate pagan symbol! Since the ultimate goal of religion is the securing of eternal life, we should not be surprised that the Pope should be carrying the ultimate Pagan symbol of eternal life.
This is a picture of candles used in Catholic masses. This is typical in Roman Catholic services and ornaments.
The largest pine cone in the world at Vatican Square in the Court of the Pine Cone.
Pine Cones are common in Roman Catholic architecture and sacred decorations.
By now, you should be persuaded that Roman Catholicism utilizes the Pine Cone just as many Pagan religions in history have done. We are now accumulating many instances where Catholicism has incorporated many, many elements of Pagan practices within their doctrines, rituals, art and architecture. We have noted the following other Pagan practices within Catholicism.
