You need so little distilled water to use
in the eyecups how about this....

I would use a stainless steel pan which
has a large surface lid...10-12 inches
across. Boil the cleanest water you have
in the pan. When you take the lid off
during the boiling process, the water
on the top of the lid IS distilled. You
can collect and use this water with your
eyebright in the eyecups and be safe.

Also be sure to sterilize your eye cup
by dunking it in boiling water and
allowing to cool.
