For some time now I've been giving my beloved cat several supplements to inhibit his fibrosarcoma. I've just now begun to give him an oleander extract that I made at home according to directions given to me. In addition to oleander extract (cooked down 4 hrs) this recipe also called for fresh aloe, bloodroot, and chaparral.
My question is- would you recommend withholding the supplements I've been giving him? OR are any or all in the list OK to give along with the oleander tonic?
Here are the supplements:
curcumin
fish oil w/ high epa and dha
skullcap
red clover
folic acid
IP-6 (inositol hexaphosphate)
Transfer Factor- immune booster (bovine colostrum, etc)
L-Arginine
Complex of Grapeseed, Pine Bark and Green Tea
Tonalin CLA
In his food I put:
Alpha Lipoic acid
Quercetin/Bromlain
Vit E
Pau D'arco
By the way-- he's been fighting this cancer with supplements and 3 surgeries (to remove the growth it returns locally) for 2.5 yrs when the vet gave him 6 months! He is happy and very active!
Thanks for any advice!
