Hi splendor123,
There is a big difference between a contageous disease, such as TB, and a non-contageous metabolic disorder or a gut dysbiosis. Metabolic disorders are not contageous because they involved the lack of metabolic enzymes, or a low level of them, resulting in incomplete metabolic processes leaving behind odorous toxins. These metabolic disorders are not contageous in any way.
The intestines have to have a good microbial balance in order to function properly. Our healthy gut is not sterile environment, and is not free of micro-organisms. But these microbes, bacteria and fungi, are not contageous as TB is contageous, for example. When the microbial ecology of the gut goes out of balance, it could produce odor, but it is still not a contageous disease.
That is not to say that the only cause of body odor is a metabolic condition or dysbiosis. You can also have localized infection in your gums, tonsils, etc., producing halitosis, but it cannot be compared to the contageous qualities of TB.
There are many reasons for body odor, and I do hope that yours is TB, if it does produce ordor, so that after it is treated, your odor is gone for good. If it doesn't go away, then you might want to consider being tested for metabolic diseases, such as trimethylaminuria, or to check for improper protein metabolism, or any of the other causes of BO discussed in my blog or in scientific articles in the web.

First and foremost, tuberulosis (TB), or any other contageous disease, has nothing to do with metabolic body odor. Here's a very good explanation of it in wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuberculosis.
Also the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention publish online info on TB, http://www.cdc.gov/tb/faqs/default.htm, including frequently asked questions (faq).
I hope this answers all your questions.

Hi #92764,
It's been while since you've written, and I wonder how you've been doing? have you been able to find anything to help you decrease your odor? What have you been trying?
