Our hormones are in imbalance, simply because of the anti-social behavior most of us adopt and other stress on top of that physically and mentally. If you've had this for years like me, then the hormone imbalance might be greater. Would you say you have any weird/unhealthy attributes to yourself?.... meaning health problems you don't understand the cause to apart from EC. I'm certain i know what i'm doing.
A basic clue is cortisone creams, when we get cortisone creams, pain goes away(if you had any) and the skin grows faster. Nothing will heal though. The effects of cortisone increase estrogen and that eliminates EVERYTHING(other hormones etc) needed for healthy skin. I've already explained what cortisol does. Estrogen exaggerates normal bodily functions and this can be applied to skin regeneration, skin cell aging.
I'VE SEEN WITH MY OWN EYES, THE MELATONIN HALT THE SKIN OVERGROWTH. At the time i was addressing cortisol, but melatonin also REDUCES ESTROGEN, which i wasn't aware of. I've had EC for possibly 14 years now. I've never had a period when the skin stopped growing. That is 10x more progress, than any doctor/derm or anything i have tried previously from reading on curezone.
In short i think there is an EXCESS OF ESTROGEN IN THE LIPS. For some who've had this longer it's also Estrogen dominance in the body. Believe me, i have looked hard and not forced any conclusions. I've gradually built up and got to this. I understand everything from digestive problems, fatigue, cravings, morning headaches, muscle loss, fat gain etc Depending on how you react to EC and your lifestyle then these symptoms will kick in. Estrogen in the body lowers thyroid function. This is direct result of chapped lips/ or dry skin. The moisturizer of our body is suppressed. Growing up i NEVER got acne, everyone in my family did. I had EC growing up.
Another simple clue is people that get EC from using Accutane. Accutane reduces DHEA(hormone). Low DHEA lowers the thyroid function and then the skin on the lips peel NOT OVERGROW. I experienced this by using Melatonin, just peeling lips... not overgrowing skin of the lips that i peel every 3 days.
Low adrenal function= low thyroid function, more specifically certain hormone imbalances(from adrenal gland) cause low thyroid function.
So do you want to know how to get your lips back to normal? Balance your hormones, do whatever, to get all your hormones in BALANCE. Eliminate estrogen from the lips. This should regulate the thyroid, liver, digestive system etc. This effects the whole body..... you take it worse... you get it worse. Be patient. The clues are out there. Accutane users is a major one. Me having a "cheilitis relapse" is one.... The skin didn't overgrow and was connected very tight. when i peeled a puss type substance came from the lips. I know the lips don't have sebum glands doesn't mean it doesn't posses sebum.
Theres alot too it. In short, reduce your estrogen in the LIPS and BODY. The body may be supplying the lips, so getting the body will be as beneficial. Don't do stuff that increase estrogen, like stress(high cortisol=high estrogen) and eat fatty foods. I've got supplements that i've bought for separate health problems, that tie into this... such as zinc and magnesium.
Excess estrogen in the lips is local, i don't know how you can get that tested... biopsy(which i will never do).
So remain calm, people have been cured by this before...they stumbled on something and got cured.... not knowing the true cause behind it or not understanding how they got cured. They may have used whatever at the correct time and had a joyful lifestyle. Do any of you have a joyful lifestyle? It's a combination of things that cause EC, reduce your estrogen, which in turn will regulate bodily functions(do individually also) and enjoy life. Easier said then done... i know.
Give melatonin liquid on your lips another try if you want proof... but go vegetarian while using it lol, use zinc supplementation(i as using it at the time, theres a reason for it) and don't stress(or do something that reduces stress), also depending on your lifestyle this might not work... like drinking alcohol. this isn't a cure... just proof if you want it, for the growing skin problem.
The cure... just be patient, i want to try it, with others before anyone spends money. I need to find a job again for these things because i don't want to ask my parents.
Bless.
