I'm pleased there is now a Herbal debate forum to address Dr Charlie and any other advice given out regarding herbs.
Dr Charlie it seems is getting tired of fending off all the questions on his forum as all he really wants to do is sell his 'tonics' it seems.
Perhaps he will go back to selling via personal messages or leave curezone entirely if he isn't getting the sales anymore.
I'll repeat what I said in my first posts on his forum before I was banned
I wanted to know what his qualifications were that he could call himself doctor
I wanted to know how he could claim cures for serious diseases such as Ulcerative colitis and MS within weeks
and I wanted to know the exact ingredients of his tonics and advice on making them .
I don't want his advice now though and I know enough about herbs to realise his claims are highly exaggerated in order to generate sales

I think Charlie would be more successful if he would share and educate regarding tonic preparations.
The simple truth is that most will not want to be bothered trying to make a tonic and would just assume to buy it and get the consultations.
I really don't see why he is so feaful of others knowing his recipe.
My thinking on the tonics too is that if they were so great then why don't you see them sold in health stores???

It isn't easy to distribute any product and get it into the stores. It's another monopoly. If Charlie shared the recipe and it worked as he claims it wouldn't be long before a major company started to distribute their version. And they wouldn't be sharing any of the money with Charlie.

This is a reply to # 1,190,311I doubt Charlie knows anything that other herbalist don't know about herbs to promote bile production. Lots of bitter herbs do this and I don't believe he has a secret formula. He has given out a basic formula which all herbalists would know and anyone can make. You can leave out the mandrake and it will still help many liver related conditions. After you have made it though you need to know how to use it correctly and not overuse it

Well you do see liver herbs in health stores as far as I know they
are sold generally for skin and bowel problems though rather than the liver
What I do though is to buy loose herbs and make up my own fairly simple
decoctions. Barberry bark is a favourite of mine. I avoid herbs that are harsh
such as rhubarb rt and senna. You can over do bitter herbs though I think and they can be weakening and some can be quite harmful to the liver so best to stick with gentle ones I feel. I dont use them a lot though as they can taste pretty awful

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,190,281I personally believe debate on Charlie should be kept in the CZ Experts debate forum. Lets make room and clarity for debating actual herbs, what they do, how they are used medicinally, etc. Debating the ingredients of a tonic is fair game though.
