Last year I tried 2 drops of Iodine and my hair started falling out bigtime the next day. I have low thyroid and already have a problem with hair falling out. But it was worse after taking the iodine. My question is, do you think you should take more to regulate the thyroid and stop the hairloss. 2 drops made it worse, so how much should I take? MoreThis is a reply to # 1,189,038No one can tell with 100% accuracy what caused this other than the introduction of sufficient Iodine released toxins that caused this.
Pretty much up to yourself to follow the Salt, B2/B3 and Selenium co-supplements while slowly building up your Iodine intake. If we go far enough back we know of people who started with a half a drop per day and worked their way up…

I would wait longer to step up, we know detox happens in stages so one week or more per step for someone that has had such an acute reaction.

This is a reply to # 1,189,112It sure is a nightmare! My hair is very long (waistline length)and now stringy because there's not much of it left. It started growing after I started using henna and taking coconut oil. So I will start the Iodine and keep upping it until i get the proper dose. Thanks guys!

Anyway, I found this wonderful hair cleaner that's totally organic at my healthfoodstore that I paid over $8.00 on, but checking online I can get it much cheaper than that:
(It's called Desert Essence Organics)
The apple and ginger one is great. The ladies were saying, it's OMG amazing shampoo. It's why I got it. It works WONDERFUL. My hair looks and flows MUCH better since washing with it. And I don't have to use much, and I don't have to use the conditioner.

This is a reply to # 1,189,414Hey do you know if that product is gluten free? I can't see anywhere on the info (ugh I wish they would just say). I've had issues with some natural shampoo's (some of the Jason brand ones) containing wheat protein. Yes I can get reactions to something OUTSIDE of my body ugh it sucks. I'd like to try that product out if it's gluten free.
