Our son just had his two month old vaccations and one being the DPT. He barely ate for half the day. That evening he went limp, turned pale (white as a ghost) and basically stopped breathing for a couple of sec. We rushed him to the ER and after a five day stay at the hospital, my doctor believes it was due to the shot.. We will not be giving this shot to him in the future. So sorry to hear about this terrible experience. I had a scary experience last year with my then 2 month old son, he went quiet and stopped crying for a few days after a vaccine....took him back to our Pediatrician who recommended stopping the vaccine schedule immediately. Since then he had had no more vaccines and we are follwing the schedule recommended by Drs Miller, Blaylock, Tenpenny, Mercola (and others). I was terrified a year ago...worried about autism, epilepsy, etc. I am OK now after searching for advice and answers. My son is 100% healthy too...no signs of any disorder, happy and healthy.
I am sure your child will be OK too. This site and others will help your baby heal and strengthen the immune system.
I learned that my husband and I are responsible for our children's health..not allopathic doctors. When things go awry traditional doctors have few answers, only prescr*iptions...You have to go to the root cause of ill health.....traditional doctors only treat symptoms.
Check Mercola.com for the recommended schedule ...which recommends zero vaccines till 2 (till the child's immune system has had time to develop) and thereon a small selection of long standing 'safe' required vaccines...separated out, mercury free, etc. Also essential fatty acids (primarily from breastmilk....I was able to breastfed my kids for 2 yrs each ) or supplement formula with coconut oil (EV), DHA, EPA. Udo's do a baby probiotic also. Keep reading, nature and our bodies have the answer...we are all sharing our knowledge.

This is a reply to # 1,187,274My 3 month old daughter had much the same reaction (24 years ago). Her Pediatrician wrote me a letter and instructed me to have it with me anytime she was scheduled for a shot. The letter stated that she was not to have any more of the pertussis vaccine. I would have thought that the vaccine would have changed and become safer for our children by this date. She now suffers from several things that I believe in my heart stems from the DPT but have no way of knowing for sure.
On the day the shot was given, she became limp, stared through me as i tried to talk to her, her little eyes were fixed in position. She ran a high fever, responded to nothing. This lasted for at least three days. She ate nothing. Slowly she began to come out of it.
Today she has severe problem solving skills. She seems to always be at the wrong place at the wrong time. She cannot have a conversation without conflict. Her frustration level is out the roof at all times. She dropped out of school because it was just too hard. The teachers in elementary said she had a learning disability but after testing we were told that she tested in the "grey" area, which means that there is definitely a problem there but no name for it. She has suffered tremendously in the real world. Please talk to your pediatrician.
My grandsons on the other hand have had no adverse reactions to the DPT. I wish you the best. Please talk to your doctor.

This is a reply to # 1,187,274Don't give anymore vaccines. My son who is now 27 years-old had a localized reaction on his leg to the DPT shot at 2 months of age. That night he stopped breathing and went pale a limp. He was sent home with an apnea monitor, later he was diagnosed with central sleep apnea. We didn't realize it was a vaccine reaction util later. We gave another vaccine. His monitor would go off and he would stop breathing. I informed his pediatrician before one of his vaccines that he had more spells after his shots. We looked back in his record at the shot dates and his first apnea episode. They correlated to the beginning of symptoms. My son now suffers from central sleep apnea, learning disabilities, chronic fatigue, and he doesn't have or can he get health insurance. His problems began before all of the questions about vaccine and internet etc. Sure wish I was able to search for info back then in 1983. Good Luck
