I'm just going out but I saw your answer.
I'm sorry you got scars. I hope none are on eyour face or hands. My rashes are almost gone, but they have left scars on my body (legs, stomach, arms), and I won't be able to wear short sleeves or a knee-length skirt for a while. The vinegar doesn't work on what's underneath the skin though, so that's where the anti-parasite drugs come in. I agree that you need to reduce the humaworm dosage, or drop off for a couple of days, then go in on a low dose.
Your poor dad. The second doctor I went to 4 years ago said I had psoriasis, but the stuff he gave me only made things worse, far worse. So I stopped that. I'd survived on using a scabicide called malathion. I don't suggest it - it's a poisonous pesticide, and I only use it in emergencies. It sounds like your father has a really bad infestation. Has the doctor explained how psoriasis can affect temperature control? The worm explanation would be that the infestation reaches your hypothalamus. I'll look up the psoriasis explanation tonight during essay break.
BTW, I take back suggesting to anyone that they use neem capsules. I may have said this before on this forum, but I'm not sure that the neem isn't feeding the worms. The symptoms are similar, but i've been findig visible pulses, and bumps all over the place. Some o fthem seem pretty big. Then again, I found lots of those white rice lumps after applying neem cream the first time, but didn't realise what they were, so didn't get rid of them thoroughly enough and also got reinfected. I tried it again yesterday (2 capsules twice in the day) then felt a twitch in my eye, bad enough to distract me. I stopped the neem, and applied heaps of diprobase on my eye, in my eye, hemp oil. Regretted not buying some eyebright eye drops that I'd seen in the natural pharmacy, but it was late at night that this happened. The twitch disappeared a couple of hours after the hemp. That does work, hemp, it brings loads of granules, and threads out of my skin. I haven't seen rice grains for a while, probably because I've been using remedies for a month now, and the threads haven't had a chance to get fat!! The jury's out on neem, and I'm not prepared to try it again, until my next school break in December. It's hard enough being at school as it is. But if it is die off that it's causing, it's so extreme, I want to find something that takes it more gently while I'm studying.
This is a long email, again. Sorry. Gotta go, or the shops will shut. Off to buy that eyebright!
