Whoever mentioned Apoptosis, Thanks.
Apoptosis is programmed cell death. This applies to any type of cell(skin etc). I found out cortisol increases this(whats new?)
Reading around i found out DHEA reverses the effects of cortisol(which is skin thinning) and also reduces Apoptosis.
As cortisol rises, DHEA decreases.
DHEA counteracts cortisol.
DHEA prevents chronic inflammation.
DHEA increases immune resistance in the skin, which in turn prevents inflammation-induced skin damage. It also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin and improves skin cell metabolism.
As chronic inflammation rises DHEA decreases.
DHEA accelerates wound healing
people with autoimmune disease have low levels of DHEA
Higher intake of DHEA improves symptoms of autoimmune diseases
"Skin that would otherwise die and peel off can be saved by DHEA. In particular, DHEA affects a destructive cytokine known as "tumor necrosis factor". At the same time that DHEA is inhibiting this destructive process, it appears to prolong healing: DHEA causes edema (swelling) to last longer, which apparently saves tissue."

DHEA is an antioxidant
DHEA strengthens the immune system.
DHEA stops accelerated skin aging
"Research has pinpointed low DHEA levels as a marker for many degenerative diseases and accelerated aging."

DHEA and Melatonin are connected

"DHEA applied topically is 85-90% greater than when taken orally....It makes sense to apply the hormones directly to the skin if skin protection is the goal, since ingested hormones may end up everywhere but the skin "

I'm going to sleep.
Peace.
