Hi Tony!
Welcome back home! I'm boppin' in for just a second and wanted to put my 2 cents in. I have wanted to ask you what you do for pain management, anyway. I gave you the agree vote.
I have to deal with level 4-6 pain in the calves of my legs every single day, 24/7. Others have compared the pain to what rhumatoid arthritis "sufferers" experience (no sufferer here! lol). I used to "eat" Advil constantly until I learned it was destroying my kidneys. I switched to Tylenol, and found out it was destroying my liver. Great. My doctors prescribed Narco for me. Didn't do it. Won't do steroids, either.
Over the past 4 years, after coming to Curezone, I've experiemented a bunch. The things that have actually worked for me personally are valerian root, lobelia (which is much harder to find than it used to be, thank you FDA), a blend of calcium and magnesium, potassium, lots of Vitamin C for some reason, hot soaking baths every night, direct heat/heating pad when my legs really, really hurt, sunshine, massage (if I have a friend or a kid who will do deep tissue massage for me), "walking it off," staying busy so my mind stays off of it, and, you know, coming to peace with the Lord about it.
I do my level best to stay off the OTC pain relievers. But sometimes the pain brings tears to my eyes, and I just have to, especially if the pain is keeping me awake.
It doesn't stop me from living, ya know? I do what I love to do, regardless. :-D
Thanks for posting that one.
Hugs,
Donna
