I was suffering from hair loss, and my hair was getting very thin. But all that has been reversing! My hair is getting thick and healthy!
Here's what I've been doing...
I eat goat yogurt everyday, that has 'active bacterial cultures'. I also leave the yogurt out on the counter overnight to let the friendly bacteria ferment it some more. This breaks the protein down into a very easy to absorb form. Protein deficiency is one cause of hair loss.
I also take 6 black currant seed oil capsules each day, with a meal. I keep the bottle in the fridge. Essential fatty acid deficiency is another cause of hair loss. I've tried a lot of different fatty acid supplements, and black currant seed oil is giving me the best results.
I also eat a
healthy Diet - Stewed apples for breakfast. Lots of salad, steamed vegetables (especially broccoli and red onion), fresh squeezed lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil. I don't eat eggs or meat, because they are hard to digest when you are working on healing your body. I eat a small amount of steamed salmon with fresh grated ginger or fresh herbs such as dill or rosemary. (the ginger or herbs aid in digestion and protein absorption, because they prevent bad bacteria from fermenting the meat in your intestines).
I've also been taking about 5g of taurine spread out throughout the day on an empty stomach. I've been taking this to help my liver and kidneys, I don't know if it has also helped my hair.
Also, about once a day I drink a couple glasses of chamomile and fresh grated ginger tea.
But I suspect that if you just do the extra fermented goat yogurt and black currant seed oil capsules you will see a big difference in your hair.
