I don't blame you for being touchy. I can imagine it's been pretty frightening.
The photos you found online are pretty extreme cases collected by someone who intends to frighten people.
The "hole in the side of the nose" was from a DYI cancer treatment, for example. Notice nothing is said about whether the cancer was cured, or how much tissue would have been removed surgically to get rid of the cancer.
Read between the lines on the other two and we can possibly infer that the paste was spread across fairly large areas of skin. Also in both of those cases the people didn't seek a second opinion for quite some time after it was obvious something was going wrong. E.g. they added more of the paste instead of stopping when there was obviously a large area of inflammation.
I think the key is that if you do use the stuff, be very careful to keep it only on the mole, and don't keep reapplying.
Although personally I wouldn't use it without being under the care of someone who I trusted knows more about it than me . . .
From what I can tell, it works because it's corrosive. If I were in your shoes, I would continue to look for herbalists with experience with it. Neosporine is an
Antibiotic so presumably its intended role is to prevent infection. But there might be other ways to promote healing/regrowth of the health tissue around/under your mole. I expect that if you want to reduce the risk of scarring you need to begin research on that ASAP.
Regarding your fear -- and apologies in advance, I know this is presumptuous of me, I'm veering off into the spiritual aspects of it now -- you essentially created a waking nightmare for yourself. Have you considered this? It started because you disliked your mole. You felt it detracted from your appearance. You've probably been turning this over in your mind for some time now. Finally you decided to attack/destroy it. The result was that the "ugly" was suddenly magnified, instead of reduced. Then, when you posted here asking for help, nobody responded--nobody showed you any love/support. Classic nightmare.
I've seen enough now in my own life (I'm 47) that I don't think such things are coincidence. So -- you might want to play around with making peace with your appearance, moles & all, or better yet learning to love your appearance (and the rest of you) *unconditionally.* I.e. no matter how hideous your face ;-) Getting to that place isn't easy, but it feels wonderful and IMO it also promotes healing by helping the body feel safe and supported.
Good luck & blessings to you.
