I had my baby Feb 16th 2008 and got Mirena put in April 21st. I started having
sharp pains in my lower left side and down my Vag. My doctor kept telling me not
to worry.. that it was normal. Yesterday, I called begging to be seen, crying
because I was in so much pain, they called me in some Vicodin and made an
appointment for May 22nd (it was only the 5th). My sister was talking to her
doctor about it and he said he would like to see me right away. They couldn't
find the strings and sent me to the hosp. for an ultrasound. They couldn't find
anything but I kept telling them I felt something there so they did an x-ray and
sure enough I have perforation of the Uterus and I have to go in Thursday for
some surgery that starts with an L. They will tell me more about it when I go
in Tomorrow. I'm just feeling so sad. I have a two year old and a 3 month old
to take care of. My husband and I just wanted to wait a few years before we had
another. The doctor made it sound like this was such a great thing.. Will this
effect that?
