#16399
My husband (41 yrs. old) has a family history of heart disease. He eats healthy, drinks water, exercises regularly and does not smoke. He just had his bp read by an EMT at work (b/c he wasn't feeling well) and it was 161 / (I don't remember the diastolic #). He said the EMT let him relax a little while & took it again, and it was 140/110 (which is what it was the other day in the drugstore.)
He has an appointment with his internist (who he's been going to forever - he's one of the few Dr's we trust - used Rx as a last resort), but can't get in to see him until a month from now.
Anyway, he went home from work to rest.
I'm terrified - please help. I'm so scared he's going to have a heart attack or stroke.
