is this true that the more times you do Master-Cleanse the longer it takes to get results?
this is my 3rd 10 day MC. the first time I got great results within 10 days,
the 2nd time I got pretty great results but not as good as the 1st time. Now,
I am on my 3rd cleanse (day 9) and it seems like everything is taking longer... getting
more energy, feeling overall better, and losing weight. Each Master-Cleanse I do the same thing. This time I may missed a drink or 2 of the lemonade but everything else the same. Has anyone else noticed this to be true?

im on my second time around also, the first time was great lost alot of weight, this time around im doing it with my wife and she feels great. i hear what your saying but i look at it this way, im not hungry even when im not on the cleanse, im eating better and i dont have the urge to eat whenever im hungry, this is a great jumpstart to a better way of life and feeling good about yourself. i hope this has done or will do for you what it has done for me.- Re: is this true? the more u do MC t... This is a reply to # 1,158,874Woody, I agree, its so worthwhile, for many reasons. Its just a little bit frustrating when the results aren't as dramatic as they were the first time. Regardless, I still plan on doing it twice a year or so, forever more! M

This is a reply to # 1,158,848Debbio, I think tomorrow will be it for me too. We must be on the same wavelength...I also was going to go longer, but get SO tired of the lemonade! I'm thinking about continuing with a juice fast for at least a few more days, haven't quite decided yet. I have no regrets, in many ways it gets easier each time. This is my 4th (or is it 5th) MC.
After the 2nd, I got so tired of the lemon drink - then my friend suggested using limes.
Try it, if you haven't. It makes a BIG difference. So now, I switch between limes and lemons to alleviate the monotony of the drinks.
I usually get more juice from the limes too.

I think this time i didn't think so much about not eating and i felt better about not eating even though i was hungry some of the time. Best to you on the juice fast. i may do a mix of juice/veggie/fruit for a while.

This is a reply to # 1,159,074Hi Debbio, today I'm feeling really good. I also re-read "DETOX STAGES" in the FAQ's. I'm feeling like if I quit now, I'll be doing myself a disservice. If I can just make it till Monday! That would be 15 days, a lot longer than I've gone before, and I'd be very proud of myself. If you choose to forge ahead with me, I'd by happy to share moral support! M

This is a reply to # 1,159,401Thanks M!! After reading it i can see why you would want to go longer. After my 1st cleanse I definitely felt better than i had in years with clarity. This time not as much but I plan on eating better so i hope that helps. Best to you.

This is a reply to # 1,158,459For me, all my cleanses have been great - most of the time, great energy mixed with more challenging days when my body is going through a healing crisis. No problems with hunger.
The weight loss, though, has been different for each. The first 2 I lost about a pound a day. The one I did in Fall 07 (20 days or so), I barely lost any weight. This current MC, about a pound a day....
I think our bodies focus on what they need to clear out/ work on each time we go on an Master-Cleanse - and that may be the difference from 1 Master-Cleanse to another...
