Hi Ladies, I am an average women who has suffered from BV weekly for the last 2 years. I was suffering so bad without any help from my doctors that I did extensive research, tried different things and was eventually able to cure myself with a very simple and effective natural method. I want to share this with you ladies and hope that I am able to help atleast one sufferer out there.
The 3 Step Method
Kill the Bad Bacteria
Create a Better Environment
Reintroduce the Good Bacteria
For the most effective treatment you should use all 3 Steps at least once per day, and more than once per day is safe also.
You should treat yourself everyday for at least 2 weeks. Especially after sex since many women report flare-ups after having intercourse.
Step 1: Kill the Bad Bacteria Unlike prescription anti-biotics that will tend to kill any type of bacteria in your body, even the good kind, herbal anti-bacterials are much gentler and kinder on your system. Many of the herbs target only bad bacteria.
Many women report that prescription anti-biotics either do not work or make them sick.
There are actually many natural and powerful anti-biotics you can use.
Step 1: Kill the Bacteria using something like Tea Tree Oil or Hydrogen Peroxide. (plus other herbs that can do the same thing) Olive Leaf, Essential Lavender Oil, Oil of Oregano.
There are various methods used to apply any of these products. You can apply them directly or use clean fingers or apply them to a tampon and insert the tampon for 1-3 hours.
Step 2: Create a Better Environment After you have performed Step 1 you now need to use Step 2 (if you are using the tampon method mentioned above you will have to wait and remove it before begining Step 2).
Use vinegar to help return your vaginal environment to a more acidic state. This does 2 things. Helps make it difficult for bad bacterial to survive and helps provide a better environment for good bacteria that prefer the acidic environment.
Remember that the normal vaginal environment is slightly acidic. Vinegar is slightly more acidic than a normal vaginal environment and so you can use the vinegar straight or dilute it about half and half with water.
Step 3: Reintroduce the Good Bacteria Most doctors will never mention good bacteria (probiotics). Good bacteria live mainly in our stomachs to help with digestion.
They help our immune systems fight off bad bacteria, yeast infections and other invaders. Bad bacteria constantly live within our bodies but are kept under control most of the time.
Women also have a small variety of good (and bad) bacteria living within the vaginal environment. The good bacteria help to protect the area in a variety of ways.
It is possible that the good bacteria will eventually repopulate themselves but you can help them out by directly applying one of the beneficial strains called Lactobacillus Acidophilus.
After Steps 1 and 2 it is very helpful to give the good bacteria a helping hand at returning.
Directly inserting a Lactobacillus Acidophilus capsule vaginally or another specially designed product for women that contains beneficial vaginal bacteria.
It is also highly recommended that you take the probiotics orally. I take a Multi-Probiotic daily just like a Multi-Vitamin.
I hope this is of some help.
Peace
