Tony, I posted this in the cancer support forum but since you might not find it there at this point, I thought I'd put it here too:
Tony, you ARE an important part of CureZone. And as assist many people into better health and out of the physical and financial meat grinder of mainstream medicine.
Unfortunately the reality is that there are people paid by the government, big pharma, and any powerful interest you can think of to blog, post, harangue and bully their employers message and spin all over the net.
I learned this early on from someone who owned a Politics Forum, and stated that they had literally hundreds of their most prolific bloggers coming from Pentagon IP addresses. Like or not forums, blogs, social networking sites, youtube, etc are ALL prime targets for clandestine PR campaigns.
To me, the tipoffs to a paid poster/blogger are:
1) They employ a relentless assault of personal attacks, bullying, ridiculing, and marginalizing as their primary approach;
2) And the ideals they supposedly stand for aren't exactly populist - like in support of big pharma, pro-open borders, additional pre-emptive wars, fewer constitutional rights etc. There are of course deeply propagandized people that are manipulated into views like this - so you have to also consider:
3) People that are very smart or well informed on the subject that should know better than the position they're taking. Example:
a) Someone very familiar with many aspects of natural medicine who's screaming about how it's all just quackery (sound familiar?);
b) Or for example someone obviously well steeped in history and current events that argues that we're in wars to the people, create democracy, or any of the other claptrap Bush/Cheney are out there trying to sell Joe sixpack and American Idol Jane. They'll know that every significant war of aggression in the last 200 years (and before) was presented by their leadership as "liberating the people" even while vilifying the people they're invading. So clearly they have a hidden agenda.
Tony, I gotta say, I watch you put up the good fight against Corinthian and others like him responding to all their taunts and attacks and feel like you'll burn yourself out. I made the same mistake in the past, taking up megabytes and megabytes of hard disk space on various forums with long, never ending online slugfests.
I finally realized that that person had no interest in reasoning, learning or understanding, they were obivously paid to be there and were only interested in promoting their agenda as unsrcupulously as necessary and destroying every counter viewpoint by bullying and attrition.
What I've found is that you do engage those kind of people just long enough to point out their dishonesty and poke holes through their arguments and then leave. People will at least have both sides of the argument and can decide for themselves, and you don't wear yourself out against someone that's paid by the post. Illuminate their game and move on.
Just my two cents.
