For what it is worth, my nutritionist does not think humans should eat grains. Kind of Mercola-ish in philosophy, I guess. But, I have to say, eliminating grains was one of the best things I have ever done for my health and energy. Except that is for the very occassional serving of rice and bowl of oatmeal. But, no breads, pastas, crackers, flour. Seemed daunting when it was just an idea, but was quite easy in practice. There are a lot of cool substitutes for things, such as crackers made from seeds and sprouted veggies - YUM!
