Every now and then it would be nice for our elected puppets to at least tip their hand a bit better if not ouright disclose from time to time who or what (entity, think tank, etc) it is writing their headline-making material. W can barely tie his own shoes let alone tie together the appropriate string of grammar and sentance structure necessary to convey lucid thoughts on heady, pressing global matters.
"One day, people will look back at this moment in history and say, `Thank God there were courageous people willing to serve because they laid the foundation for peace for generations to come,' " Bush said at the State Department after a two-hour briefing on U.S. diplomatic strategy around the world."I vow so long as I am president to make sure that those lives were not lost in vain."
Some pertinent facts of history reveal that World War I was sold with similar billing and said to be "the war to end all wars". As far as cheap, exploitive sentmental propaganda goes, that was all very nice, but has anyone noticed how that turned out to not be the war that ended all wars? It turned out to provide a glimpse at a failed rush to establish a political body in charge of global affairs. In retrospect, that clearly appears to have been the plainly hidden thrust of the foundation sought to be laid by the slain. In the interest of do over, WWII brought similar sentimental billing and, surprise of all surprises, more humanity made to be willing to serve, more globally slain, more foundation being laid with corpses, plus a bit of the flooring and interior work for the international castle being erected. In second-take retrospect, it appears even more clearly that the war to end all wars was really about the deceptive semantics necessary to begin the never ending series of wars to be fought around the globe until such time that the think tanksters become satisfied that they have created enough chaos in the world to then render order out of..... ya gotta have global chaos before you can then render order out of that chaos. A think tankster wanting to render order out of chaos without the requisite chaos already in hand is like Picasso with fresh canvass but no pigments. The bonus to war mulligan known as WWII was that it established enough foundation to the castle to provide a foothold for a global body commissioned to subsequently broker the international think tankster's idea of world peace on a case by case piece meal basis ..... in a "war is peace, slavery is freedom" way, no doubt. How else to explain the strange notion of U.N. as brokers of peace? Since it's inception, the world has experienced more strife from wars waged ongoing around the world giving rise to more people slain and fallen in service to wars waged around the world than had occured in total prior. With only 10 months to go, theoretically, one must wonder A) what has taken so long for the cabal of think tanks behind the power in the oval office to cough up that particular sentimental nugget "vow" and B) on good, bad or indifferent day for the power of think tanks behind the power of political puppets, what price, what achievement, what outcome can ever be wrought out of this war so as "to make" it truly not in vain?.
