The school with the highest freshman SATs is California Institute of Technology in Pasadena Calif , not an ivy league school. Public universities should not be lumped together consider ing some will take just about any moron and some are more presigious than the ivy leagues . If you look at U.S. news and world report and other agencies that rate universities, you see that Univ of Calif at Berkeley rates in the top five in more depts than any other university most years . The journal of legal education places several state shools inm the top twenty and many pivate ones at the bottom.
