I'm not sure that Bloodroot can kill you from an overdose, since it makes you throw up when you take too much. But it might if you choked on your vomit, which is entirely possible. You most certainly have be very careful with it.
If you google for it, you will find several sources. I like the powdered kind. They sell tinctures at the local health food store, but I've never tried it that way. The recommended dose on my container is 1-2 teaspoons twice daily. But if you are toxic, that will be way too much.
I was near death, and I knew it, so I started with 1/4 teaspoon. It was too much for me. I threw up and didn't even make it to the bathroom. I had to start with 1/32 of a teaspoon and I've been trying to reach the recommended dose for five years.
Even the tiny amount I started with made me horribly nauseaus, exhausted, paranoid and gave me diahrrea. I paced the floors and kept looking in the mirror at night. I had dreams of demons dying, and awakened feeling like I was murdering them. It also made me extremely thirsty. I kept two gallons of water next to the bed, drank water all night long. Both containers were empty every morning. And I wasn't getting up to pee very often. I still don't know where the water was going. I kept finding sand in my bed. At first I thought the dog was bringing it in, but it was coming out of my body.
I was told to go very slowly and incrementally increase the dose over time, until all my symptoms disappeared, then stay on it for another thirty days. After that to do routine maintenance.
It is important to take breaks periodically, let the eggs hatch out and give your body a rest from all the detoxing. The longest I've been able to stop taking it, without them making me cough again, and stinging my throat at night, and waking me up over and over, is three months. I pretty much go after them as hard as I can, when ever they come after me.
The minute I feel them biting, I go after them, so the hatchlings won't have time to mate and lay eggs. Eventually your wormload will get really low and you will start to feel great, especially if you take anti-oxidants, iodine, minerals and get plenty of exercise.
Ascaris are mean little suckers.
I think I may have a
Tapeworm too, as I can feel something slithering in between my ribs and it occasionally it feels like there is something rather big in my gut, turning over. I was raised barefooted on a farm. We had pigs, chickens, horses, sheep and cows.
