The inversion tables are not for the lymphatics. It's a form of intersegmental traction which I do NOT advise by the way. Prolonged traction on the spine will lead to small tears in the annular fibers that surround the liquid of the disc.
If the tear gets bad enough you end up with a herniated disc. If the tears don't progress to that point and heal up over and over again you end up losing some of your range of motion and flexability because calcium eventually fills in those small tears and protective arthritis sets in.
The only traction that should be applied to the spine is that one exercise I teach (toe pull) when you actually have the disc bulge or the Intersegmantal traction applied by a chiropractor.
If your lymph system is backed up you WILL know it. You will NOT feel good. Chronic fatigue, swollen lymph nodes, chest pain, achy joints, bad digestion, strong urine, body ordor, on and on.
There are people with strong constitutions. I'm one of them but the bugs got me anyway and you have to remember I was drinking agent orange.
Watch your diet a bit, stay on the distilled water and daily oils and you should be fine.
We had our snowiest February ever here. Looks like it's not going to end anytime soon either.
