There are a number of things it could be...since everyone is different there is no set recipe. You'll have to play around with things and figure out what works for you.
For the tea, try steeping it a minute longer each day until you get the desired effect. You don't want to have really bad cramping in the middle of the night that wakes you up, but you do want to probably feel some "gentle" cramps or movements in your bowels that let you know that the lax tea is doing its job.
For the SWF, the 2 tsp of salt to 32 ounces of water is a guideline. You may need to use 1/4 tsp less or 1/4 tsp more to get the desired results. Another issue could be water intake. If you are dehydrated, then your body will absorb the water from the SWF and you won't get much coming out the other end. You can try drinking 16 ounces of plain water 1/2 hour prior to drinking the SWF. And if you haven't had a BM an hour after drinking the SWF, drink more plain water.
If I start the cleanse dehydrated, it usually takes me a few days to get my body straightened out. This means my SWFs aren't always that successful. Today is my day 4, and I just this morning had a good SWF.
Keep experimienting, you'll figure out what's right for you!
