Hi

Its not too difficult to keep the tea warm ifyou have it in a large pot. Once thet ea is warm I put a tea towel over the lid to stop the heat from escaping so quickly and turn the heat off. I now have invested in stone pot so that I can keep any mixture warmer for much longer without any power on.
