I was diagnosed with glue ear when I was
in my early twenties. The ear grommet,
which was put in my left ear, caused
permanent hearing loss in that ear.
And it did not help my problem.

I have since read where ear grommets
can cause hearing loss.

Has your child ever taken Antibiotics ?
I would reestablish or add to her good
digestive flora. I would also feed her
foods that were antiviral, antifungal,
and antibacterial. Coconut oil would
be great.

Although, I have never used ear candles on a
three year old, I would not hesitate to do so.

OMG, please be careful. My son had the same problem 20 years ago and he was on Antibiotics for years until he was around 7 and they put "tubes" in his ears. The infections stopped for a while until the tubes came out and he went back on Antibiotics .
He also became addicted to Sugar and got a serious candida infection that caused serious behavior problems, mood swings and hyperactivity. He's now bipolar and not fun to be around.
Take this very seriously and make sure you find excellent surgeons if you decide to have surgery because my son is deaf in one ear from a poor ENT surgeon.

I was ignorant about candida back then. It causes "glue ear". Please check your child's diet and try to stay as pure and simple as the candida diet as possible. Use stevia for sweetner and don't take him or her to the grocery store unless you just go around the periphery because the center is full of junk food, Sugar and designed to entice your child and make you feel like you need to buy it or you're a bad mom!
