So this morning as I stepped out on the street I looked up to the sky and said "Source, give me a sign, any sign, to feel good about today".
As soon as I finished I could hear birds singing in the cold. It sounded like spring. I have not heard them sing before and as I kept walking a little further, about a quarter block, it was not to be heard - only right when I asked for the sign. The singing made me feel real good, like the birds were singing just for me! :-)
Then I did it once again, saying "Give me a sign, any sign, to make me feel good today".
So, as soon as I got to work, my co worker had placed two large cookies with the most delicious chocolate mousse topping in the refrigerator for me which she got from the kitchen when she went for lunch yesterday and I had already left! :-)
EDIT
At work, after I wrote the above, I said again "Source, give me a sign, any sign, to make me feel good today".
In comes a lady who said she wanted to sign up with me again. We had worked together a couple years back. I just got a new client. :-)
Due to making the appointment with her I left work later, about ten minutes, than I usually would have. The bus to get to my next appointment should have come already, meaning I should have missed it. However, when I got to the bus stop, it came right away - whereas the many others had been waiting for it a long time - turns out it was late and just in time for me. I made it to my next appointment in time :-)
I was feeling sooo good all morning. I was anticipating all the good that the universe would send my way. It was almost like waiting for Christmas. I had this tingle all over me and when I thought about it deeply I would get teary eyed out of happiness. Very strange, but oh what a great feeling! I just didnt want anyone to see LOL
Anyhow, the day goes on. I am about to meet my next client. I had to do it again: "Give me a sign, any sign, to make me feel good today".
She came in saying she had had an accident a couple days ag which hurt her leg affecting her walk. She was very slow and felt weak and it hurt with every step.
I looked at her leg, and there was a huge bruise on her lower leg and it was swollen quite a bit. She was worried because she had a busy week coming up with travel and all. I said to her "That cant possible affect your walk - its just a bruise in the tissue." She looked at me surprised. I said "Come on, walk again and see, I know your leg is fine, its just local and has nothing to do with your joints or muscles - you are fine. Isnt it great that its just a bruise? - you can be so grateful that your leg is fine!"
She gets up and with each step she feels better. After about 15 steps she felt no discomfort at ALL anymore! She was astonished. That made me feel so good. :-)
