* TOP TIP: You can add 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence or half a vanilla bean to this recipe to create a vanilla milk. Additionally you can add a fingernail sized scraping of coconut butter to this for a creamier richer flavour.

Almond milk at the grocery store is just one more processed food!!
Most of the nut milk recipes state they stay fresh in the fridge for about 3 days ... so just what's in that carton of almond milk at the grocery store??
Couple of things I do ... there are days when I just gotta have a baked potato, not often, not even once a week ... BUT loaded baked potatoes might be what I ate at the steak house BEFORE I got holistic!! while everybody else was eating animal carcus (never did like beef steak!) ... anyhow, instead of butter or margarine, try goat butter - it's very rich and creamy, easier on the digestive system ... instead of sour cream, try plain goat yogurt ... these 2 things are pretty dang good exchange items for regular dairy. DO NOT TRY TO STIR FRY WITH GOAT BUTTER, IT AIN'T AS COMPLEX AS COW BUTTER!! I found out he hard way :D
