Hello there, am new to the list - am a thirtysomething Type B- ( secretor status unkown)
Regarding chicken...I gotta chuckle because, checking on the "NO" list for Bs, for at least a couple of years I seemed to be on a carefully designed Demolition course for myself - almost every night I would have PASTA for dinner, with a homemade TOMATO -based sauce (of course), with either CHICKPEAS( don't ask!) or CHICKEN mixed in with some other veggies, topped off with PARMESAN . Mornings I'd have some form of Muesli, and I 'd usually skip lunch because...guess what...I was leery of the usual "knock-out" symptoms I'd get , the bloating too. And to think I upped my chicken consumption rate because I thought I was lacking in animal protein !!
Over the last six months I've managed to eliminate chicken , and tomato/corn almost entirely. Wheat is an uphill battle though - I love pasta too much:-)
I seem to have slightly more energy than before ( and I fought off a recent cold in three-five days instead of the usual two weeks ) but I've been doing so much other stuff besides , like trying to get more sleep, meditation, and reducing Internet time, that it's hard to tell if the diet is really at stake... at any rate, I don't miss chicken at all!
