Medically speaking according to BOOK I, by days 12-14 a person should hav an increase of 5X the amount of red blood cells over what they had when they started thir orange juice fast.
THIS NATURALLY MEANS meat is not needed in the diet to make red blood cells and all these misguided people who believe they will suffer dearly if they go off their meat, etc. are all in need of an orange juice fast.
Each year I do a differant twist with the orange juice fasting. The oranges are great in January and will last through Febuary, in these 2 months I use oranges and then I am done with them for the year.
I use the same amounts of orange juice with each fast, but I experiement with other things. This year the fast is so simple, so easy it is hard to even call it a fast, because your actually more satisfied than you would be if you were back to eating the normal crap we call human foods. Naturally only being at day XII is nothing to brag about, but if I can make it to days 21 or 40 with no symptoms of 'fasting" then I will have something to talk about.
I have a new theory on fasting. Christopher teached that you HELP the body do what it is already doing, because it knows best. With that in MIND, the fast needs to be perfected. It works great as written by the old auhtors, but they wrote down their works, so we in the future could IMPROVE, because the day you don't make improvements is the day you stand still.
So far I can resist because I am satisfied and that is what food is all about, being satisfied. If your hungry, your lacking something. This is my theory and it may alter the entire theory of fasting.
