Interesting combo...
I think I had one of those New Years Eve...just can't remember , hic :P
Actually , the
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) is ingeniously formulated to the specific gravity
of your blood. Altering may 'work' fine for you, yet you are defeating the
cleanse and confusing your body if you are adding the oj. The
Master-Cleanse has
not just been around since the '40s. Aspects of the MC, especially the
SWF have been used for hundreds, if not 1000s , of years. Each ingredient
and qty of the
Master-Cleanse is integral to a successful ,SAFE and effective cleanse.
If you are having a difficult time with the
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) a few things:
-be sure the salt is COMPLETELY disolved before drinking
-plug your nose, 98 % of taste sense is by smell
-what type of salt is it? Plain
Sea Salt sucks...try Redmonds or Celtic Grey
-realize that it is not much saltier than a restaurnts soup broth
-focus on the new you, the reasons you are on the cleanse, an ocean breeze! :P
The
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) was for me, too, a hurdle. I tried several salts and through the grace of
this site and RESEARCHING,EXPERIMENTING AND READING PAST POSTS found the answers
to most of my questions.
If you are adding OJ, I gather that you have not done a ton of research here.
I highly suggest it. You (me & others) will benefit greatly by knowing what to
expect, what to avoid and what to do. It really helped me so much to go through the
archives here! I, and everyone here, only want you to really have the best experience possible with your cleanse. Altering the formula and prescribed method
may in the short term be more 'comfortable', however in the long term may prove
unhealthful.
Health does not come easy. One reason many of us are here is because we had/have
grown 'comforable' with our life style. If
The Master Cleanse has taught me one thing, it is that one has to be willing to experience and tolerate a little
discomfort and inconvenience in order to be free and successful. If we really work to get past or hurdles , we find it easier to say no to the bad habits that brought
most of us here , and yes to a better life.
all the best,
