I agree with what people are saying.  I make smoothies all the time in my MB.  But it does not even come close to juicing.  I don't know how they can get away with that claim.  I threw that part out as it wasn't even worth using as a travel juicer.

For smoothies I love it though and we use it almost everyday.  They're not super sturdy though, we're on our fourth one (motor base) in two years.  They are definitely not built to last.  If another company ever comes out with a sturdy version that does the same thing we'll switch to that in an instant!

mine is a  black & decker juice extractor from wal mart. it was about $30.00. good for the price, but soon i'm going to get a more heavy duty juicer. i'm really getting into juicing daily. :)
