I gotta tell ya...
I would NOT recommend using even diluted
Lugols for a baby!
This past week, I painted the soles of my feet and the palms of my hands with Lugols. I had taken a bath and then applied some coconut oil to my skin, including my feet and hands, and then applied some
Lugols after the oil.
My skin was on fire!!!
And it is still burning to some extent! Even with the layer of coconut oil on it, it is as if I experienced a mild chemical burn. The skin on my palms and soles was red, and extremely tight; as if all the moisture was wicked right out of it. This surprised me greatly considering that I had applied the coconut oil first. Now, this skin is beginning to peel; although it is still extremely sensitive and doesn't feel good! And my skin is still very inflamed on my at the base of my left ring finger. I have tried numerous things in an attempt to bring some relief; and with little success.
ACV left me smelling like a damn sour pickle! No Thanks!! P-U!!!
I believe that only time is going to clear this up! As the skin sheds, it is relieving the tightness!! And I believe the stinging dryness will stop once the old skin has completely shed!!!
I speak for myself here! This is my experience!! And if I had a baby, I would NOT give them
Lugols Iodine in any form whatsoever!!!
I might, perhaps, give them a bath with some seaweed strips in the water!
Better yet...
I'd take them to the beach to play in the water!!!
