I didn't feel worse in that first week, but had some nasty side effects (a very dry mouth, nausea, pain in the stomach, weak nerves, numbness, and seeing strange images when I have to go to the bathroom at night, right after I wake up) and most of those are still here, except for the dry mouth. I have decided to wean them off again, in spite of what my psychologist advised me to do. I can't take the pain in my stomach any more, and the weak nerves. The anxiety is gone now though, that's the only good effect it has had on me.
I went to a local crystal healing centre today, and this woman there, who is very intuitive, helped me find a good crystal to help me heal. It's a ruby. She told me she sensed me being exhausted. And then I told her about Mirena. She confirmed that this thing has been messing up a very delicate and complex inner hormonal system, and that I must be a very sensitive person too considering the effect it had on me. Like the rest of the women here then, eh..? It felt good to get the support and recognition. I will let you know if the crystal is going to make any difference.
