MoreMy dog has had a reoccurring ear infection for some time. I usually have success treating with VCO, temporarily at least, however I am out of that right now and she seems to be in some discomfort.
It occurred to me to mix up some Miracle-Mineral-Supplement solution and use it to clean her ears with. Since I used it so successfully on her flea bite rash, I know that she is not adversely affected by it, so I figure it will be OK. And maybe it will even help her.
Worth a try anyway.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,073,897The thing to keep in mind is that you really don't want much residual moisture in her ear, as that sets the stage for future infections.
Do you have any of that powder that groomers use to dry out the insides of their ears? You might want to start using that after a couple of Miracle-Mineral-Supplement treatments.- Re: Experiment with Dog's Ear Infect... sanctuary2

This is a reply to # 1,073,903I don't have any of that powder, but I was hoping not to get the ears too wet. I am just going to dip a q-tip in the mms and clean the ears out. I think it is worth a try. Will let you know how it goes. Going to go do it now.

This is a reply to # 1,074,224I cleaned her ears out with the diluted mms solution and waited a couple of hours and then did it again. She seems fine this morning. She isn't scratching at her ears and she doesn't appear to be in any discomfort. What a pity we can't ask them directly?

Editing to add: I hesitate to try Miracle-Mineral-Supplement on them topically, as cats have very weird skin (as in they absorb things far more readily than humans or dogs).
But I am wondering if Miracle-Mineral-Supplement might help with some of the brownish eye drainage they both seem to have all of the time, plus Marmalade has an auto-immune problem that requires a cortisone shot every 4-6 months.
I am going to wait a while before I consider using Miracle-Mineral-Supplement on them...I'll test it on myself, lol, but not the cats. What does that say??- Re: Cats and MMS sanctuary2

This is a reply to # 1,074,492I know what you mean. I would love to try mms on my dog internally. She is old and has various health issues, but I wonder how well she would do on it. I also have concerns about her developing diarrhea or vomiting on mms as she is in the house 22 hours a day.

This is a reply to # 1,074,513I'm trying Miracle-Mineral-Supplement on my "king size" maltese. LOL, he is big - 20 lbs. :) He's got a few scabs on his neck, under the chin. I hate taking him to vet, I know the drill - some Antibiotics injections right away, and a course of pills to follow. Scabs look similar to ear mites scabs, so it's probably some kind of pest. I just (two days ago) started him on one drop of Miracle-Mineral-Supplement mixed with some food. He doesn't seem uncomfortable. We'll see how it goes...

Your poor dog...do you think topical Miracle-Mineral-Supplement might be good to help with any itching? I am just wondering if that might be quicker reacting than the internal.
Also, does he have any seasonal allergies that might give him reason to scratch? My indoor cat just finished up his seasonal bout, thank goodness.- Re: Dogs divandan

This is a reply to # 1,074,658He doesn't have any (known) alergies, but does have a sensitive skin, I think. :) He tends to scratch a lot. I even changed his diet to no grains and no other junk in it, but I don't see any change.
Yes, I could try topical Miracle-Mineral-Supplement , I considered that too, but my idea is to try and see firsts if ingesting it improoves anything. And, it's easier to sneak it into his food than to chase him around and try to keep him still while putting it onto his skin! :)- Re: Dogs marmalade

This is a reply to # 1,074,648I love maltese terriers. I have had two in my life and both lived to be over 18 years of age. Are you just activating the mms and then putting it straight into the food? Please let me know how you go with this, I am very tempted to try it out on my dog.

This is a reply to # 1,074,659Yes, I activate 1 drop of Miracle-Mineral-Supplement with 5 derops of citric acid , dilute it with a little water and mix it with his food. According to Jim Humble reccommended dosage for dogs is three drops per 25 pounds, but I don't want him to feel uncomfortable.

This is a reply to # 1,074,932My lovely 11 1/2 year old shitsu lhasa has every problem in the book (horrible allergies, staph infections, yeast infections, cushings disease, low thyroid) -- and she is on a complex medical regime for all of these, but has been getting worse in the past year, not better. I've run out of money, can't bear to see her so miserable, and I have been considering putting her down, but then today I read about mms. If I could get her off the Antibiotics , the anti-fungals and the immune suppressant for her allergies, with mms, I would be beyond happy. So I want to try it; I want to know how much to give her in her food or water. 1 drop mms to 5 drops citrus, diluted with water, in food or drink? How often? For how long, and how will I know if it is making her nauseated?
And if I get her a cortisone shot to relieve the horrible itching and scaling and oozing, will the mms still work? I need some advice quickly. And where can I get Miracle-Mineral-Supplement quickly? I live in LA- Re: Dogs/ infections/MMS SilverFox
