NO. You are not the only one. Her voice bugs me, too. And I have taken some issue with all this Law of Attraction stuff for a while now. Something about it didn't quite sit well with me, and I think I've finally figured out what it is.

So much of what I know about The Secret (yep, saw the movie) and The Law of Attraction (read a few books, watched some videos) is that they keep us focused on: DUALITY. There is a presupposition there that "I prefer this..." to "I'd rather not have that..."; that 'positive' and 'negative' are the ultimate reality.

This is ridiculous!

There is something at play that is so far greater than the puney little 'Us'; and yet, simultaneously we are also a part of this greater something. And if my words don't make sense; they'll just have to do for now.

Personally, I do believe in channeling. And I think that 'Abraham' was an excellent teacher... For Esther. I'm not so sure that all of those teachings are appropriate for everyone.

They weren't for me! If I had bought into all that, I would have missed out on some incredible insights and learnings for myself!! Why? Because I would have been so busy trying to push down any of my 'negative' thoughts and feelings!!!

NEGATIVE and POSITIVE are two sides of the SAME coin, folks!
