well, according to the fda there isn't any conclusive evidence that it's bad for everybody, just that it's not good for some people. And heck, some people die from allergies to peanut butter, that doesn't stop the rest of us from eating it. It may really depend on people on an individual basis, just it's one of those more risky type of things.
I read on one site that the body has safeguards against to much glutomate or something, and that as long as the safeguards are in place, it's likely msg can't cause any problems, so perhaps msg is only dangerous to people who already have certain health issues and younger children?
