I'm so glad curezone has decided to start a forum regarding this subject.
I have suffered from chronic costochondritis for about 3 years now. I've had 2 ultrasounds and an MRI. All of these came out as negative for all but a fatty liver diagnosis. The medical doctors, who diagnosed me with costo, are at a loss, because they say costo is supposed to only last for a few months. They shake their heads and treat me like I'm just being difficult.
The pain is awful. It hits me usually when I am standing up, and if I twist the wrong way, I get a huge attack that can last for the rest of the day. I can definitely feel sensitivity on my right side lower ribs. It wraps all the way around my back.
I just left a two year job because of stress (been off since 2/13) and I'm hoping that the bracing (yes, definitely fight or flight because of my ex-boss, eveyday) will diminish and I can finally end this cycle.
I also had shingles on this area back in 2002! I thought maybe it was nerve damage, and maybe it is, but the symptoms are so different from what I've read about post shingles pain. Perhaps someone knows about that also.
Because of the fatty liver, I've decided to begin a series of liver flushes. Easy to do, and with amazing results (check out the
Liver Flush Forum ).
I would love to discuss what may have worked for other people. I know there are alot of people out there with similar pain.
Thanks.
