it depends on what your after.... 'balance' can be elusive. you can opt to have a treatment or a course of treatments like Reiki or Bio energy healing, where the therapist would work with you to identify where blockages or imbalances are and clear them. If you have the inclination (and the cash) you could learn these or similar therapies yourself so that you could treat yourself on an ongoing basis. Reiki is particularly nice, very gentle and easy to learn. Other ways to balance chi would be to take up a form of exercise such as tai chi, qi gong or chi kung. Meditation helps, as do breathing exercises.
EFT (emotional freedom technique) works on the energy of the body too and can be used for just about anything.
Its all down to what youre looking for and what your understanding of 'balance' is - as well as what method feels best for you.
