GodSpeak
I'm just responding to the title you wrote.
My version of a saying I heard somewhere:
The notes are what we hear, but it's the pause between the notes that make it music.
From the Tao:
We join spokes together in a wheel,
but it is the center hole
that makes the wagon move.
We shape clay into a pot,
but it is the emptiness inside
that holds what we want.
We hammer wood for a house,
but it is the space inside
that makes it livable.
We work with our being,
but non-being is what we use to be.
Often what appears to be nothing, is the greatest.
