well said, and a question many people ask about Garys book and ACIM.
I equate owning an experience with forgiveness. And this is my take:
As Spirit having human experiences, personality/ego has a tendency to
judge everything around us even though we attract everything to us to
expereince (or "someone sends runners" , which if your a student of
the Ram, you are attracting the experience of runners lol). At any
rate, to this One, the idea is to allow life to unfold without
reacting to the experiences but relating them back to the self &
Self, that is experiencing without judgment.
If no thing is judged
there is no reason to forgive. Ultimately we create with the thoughts
we think, and the act of forgiving is not for the benefit of anyone
we may preceived outside of us but for ourselves. It seems arragant
and selfish but really is selfless. The idea is to bring it all back
the the One expereinceing. Life unfolds, there are no accidents, so
everyone is right where they should based upon the thughts thought
and the choices made.
Gary wrote (I forget who actually said it) in his book that we are
not creating and I disagree with that. As the physicality is an
illusion, and is created by the thougts we think, then how can we not
be considered creators?
Thats the book and my take on it anyway. Ultimately, I agree with you
There is nothing to forgive for no thing really happened
anyway. Until we all know that and own that, forgiveness is a great
tool to bring experience back to the person doing the experiencing
thus eliminating the thought of separation (we bring these
expereinces into our lifes). Expereincing dualistic human physicality
certianly is not boring for sure.At least, not ofr me.
Let us all race to RSE as soon as we can and bypass every tool! In
the meantime, this book is useful!
blessings and joy,
Jeannie
