OMG this thread is sooo funny. I have been on both sides to this train of thought. Guess what? That train is going nowhere.
I just try to do good for principle's sake. I mess up sometimes, but I don't beat myself up. Human nature...afterall, we are not all Saints here. If I always TRY to be the best that's good enough for me. Who cares if it ever comes back to you?
If you are relying on PEOPLE to change & the Karma to come back to you THAT way, don't hold your breath. Most people are "takers" and love that you "give too much". That's O.K. Recently, I had someone FINALLY pay for their "bad deeds" with "bad Karma". It took 15 years for it to come back to them but it was so worth watching it happen. See? Bad of me to enjoy that misfortune. Good of me to let it happen and not choke the person myself 15 years ago. :P
Maybe in the next life it'll come back to us....who knows. Focus on how great your career is and get over the rest.
:)
