HI MM,
You will want to scan through the "R" messages to learn about the benefits people have experienced from OP -- lots of improved mouth health (i.e. less bleeding gums, periodontal symptoms, whiter teeth, cleaner mouth in general -- there are several posts that detail peoples' visits to the dentist to have teeth cleaning done where the hygienist has commented on the improvement, for instance). My sinuses have cleared enormously since I started OP a little over a year ago (i.e. I can usually breathe through my nose and have not gotten a head cold since I started). Others and I have noted overall improvements in clarity and mood. These results are a fraction of what people have experienced, so do familiarize yourself with the posts that detail the cumulative experiences over time.
For the basic protocol and explanation, you can visit

At this forum we tinker with the basic protocol (1x/day, in the morning on an empty stomach, for 20 minutes, "swish" -- this is like at the dentist when they give you the water to rinse your mouth with -- about a tablespoon of sesame or sunflower oil, then spit it out and rinse with salt water). People here have tried lots of different oils (although the consensus is to use nut and seed oils by and large, and organic when possible, and as unrefined as possible -- and not to use soy, peanut, and canola oils at all). Oils I have used include sesame, walnut, coconut, flax seed, sunflower, and olive (although olive turned my teeth slightly green over time -- not too noticeably, but it definitely lent them a slight cast!).
This is general information, but welcome to the forum (which is a fun place to call home at Curezone, too!). My standard suggestion to people who are new to the protocol is to give it a couple of weeks with the standard protocol to see how you react and to establish a sort of "baseline" and then to branch out into seeing what different oils feel like for you...
Best,
Laura
