Hello everyone,
Twelve years ago I was told I had a degenerative eye disease, keratoconus, and the best anyone could do for me was to go for a corneal transplant. I never knew what a blessing not having insurance for the surgery would be. Through complete serendipity, I ended up finding two alternative treatments that caused unheard of regression in my case. Today I see 20/25 in the worst eye even though initially I had one of the worst cases I've ever seen. I have created a web site detailing everything I know about healing keratconus. I hope that some day we can get rid of these needless surgeries pushed onto keratoconics.
Hope this helps,
Kristin
