Montmartre
I'm starting tomorrow, I'm sitting here with my first cup of lax tea, at least it tastes good. I am really
nervous, I have a terrible feeling in the pit of my stomach. This is my first time. Ahhh! At least my boyfriend
is doing it with me. But there are still lots of things I am concerned about.
Anyways, the thing that first drew me to fasting was the spiritual aspect. I really like the idea of fasting
as a cleansing of not only the body, but of the mind and spirit as well. During the fast I hope to spend alot
of time meditating, journaling, etc. I would like to take the time to intensely focus on myself, clean out
some emotional baggage, and become more spiritually in touch. If anyone has any advise, ideas, comments
on this topic, i would love to hear it, thanks!
