and it was interesting.
I like the idea behind it. In comparison with Reiki it is quite different. Quantum Touch is simply a technique which anyone can learn. Reiki demands an initiation from the healer itself which passes on a certain ability to you.
Reiki might have its benefits dont get me wrong, but Quantum Touch is far more powerfull i would say and direct. Anyone can learn it. It is a combination of attention, visualisation and breathing techniques which are supposed to highten the resonance of the person who is 'treating' someone.
The Quantum Touch mentality though is that the one that is being healed IS the healer. And in many ways that is right, he/she is the only one whos immune system is being triggered to heal itself where possible.
I tried it on my mom last evening, she has some sort of bursitis and alot of tension in her shoulders. I didnt expect any miracles as it being my first try after the workshop. So i visualized and did the breathing techniques, hold my hands on her shoulder for about 5 minutes while doing different techniques and she reported her shoulders being relaxed for the whole evening through. She still feels the benefit now as well, the next day.
So it is doing something, and i CLEARLY didnt master the technique like i should yet
The healing works like this: I higher my resonance using the visualisation and breathing techniques. a part of a persons body which is in pain is obviously of a lower resonance (in this case my mothers shoulders). Now what happens is the shoulders i touch simply 'vibrate along' on the higher resonance of my hands. the higher resonance overrules the lower. IF healing is possible, the immune system will use the higher resonance as an impulse to trigger a healing response in the shoulders. yeah, its that simple. i saw it with my own eyes.
Now for something else: One of the workshop instructors asked someone who was following the workshop - one of the 20 people including me - to come forward. The woman who came forward was very structurally out of balance. Her hips were clearly misaligned and she walked 'funny'. She was clearly crooked and out of balance. Now i worked with her in the workshop before she was being treated by the instructor so i could see she was structurally not as she should be
The great thing about Quantum Touch is it can fix, like chiropractors and cranio-sacral therapists and osteopaths the skullplate, the hip alignment, the back (scoliosis) and whatever one can imagine that is being treated by a chiropractor can be done at a Quantum Touch therapist as well.
So, the woman came forward. The instructor hold her hands on the sides of each hip from the back and while she did the technique i saw the hips of the woman align. Just like that. Only took about 1 minute before i saw her hip shifting in the correct position but she kept on treating her for a couple of more minutes.
She was totally ALIGNED after she was being treated. She walked completely different, her legs were aligned as in her hip was aligned so she didnt set her feet uneven on the ground anymore as was the case before she was treated
I would recommend this technique to anyone. Its easy to learn and the results can be quite dramatic after mastering the technique abit. The instructors told us 'allopathic' medicine people like nurses and doctors have been taking the workshop, the 'alternative' view on health is coming more and more. The 'problem' is the doctors and nurses just dont openly talk about it in their profession for the fear of being rejected by their colleagues
Quite a few chiropractors and cranio-sacral therapists/fysiotherapists and osteopaths have been taking the workshop as well and they say it decreased the time for their patients to heal.
Which is partly why i post it in your forum doc sutter, if you dont mind. If you do just remove it
