Finding Heaven...I know you can... Sometimes I find heaven when I am hugging my little baby... I can see heaven when I am looking on a sunset...when I am helping others and get caught up in and lost in getting to know a stranger in need... I see heaven...

I don't believe it requires a plan... just lovin' on people that don't deserve it...
Lovin' people that do too... even the ones close to you...and the same goes for those
who live far away... ones and twos...until you get around to loving everyone you can... and if you run out of people to love... love sunrises and sunsets... and love the smell of rain...love the sound of a river as it flows into and out of you....

When you injure someone or someting...consider it holy ground...tread as lightly as you can...then lay your crimes before the mercy seat...and while you are in a giving mood...give all of those times you were injured too...

It doesn't take a plan but a way of being...forgiving quickly...loving broadly...

We are not the shell that surrounds our soul any more than the cocoon of the caterpillar is a butterfly... we are much more than a husk that
clings to the sides of things... and still...there is no rushing a butterfly... to fly... We are born and like a caterpillar...we consume....and consume...To the leafy plant whose leaf we chews... our consumption is for him a life and death struggle...and the plant once chewed does his very best to pull nutrients from the ground and sky... just to survive the attack of the lesser version of the butterfly...but no one remembers butterflies for the wounds they caused...but rather for their beauty and the love making role they play in in the faerie world of flowers in bloom... No one wants to be consumed but everyone wants to be a lover...still some refuse to leave the cocoon and die...the part inside of us that lives only to consume... but the consumer part of the caterpillar lives for only a season... In the cocoon the caterpillar becomes the lover... Dreams inside the cocoon that begin as counting all that they consumed give just enough heat to survive the chill but with the first hint of warmth...the butterfly inside our dreams begin to change... dreams of love and freedom arrive in a tiny paper like spirit with no brain at all...with wings made from what can only be called a colorful bit of dust...and soul... or just like you and I we may start off living for what we consume in this world of things but hopefully we will change....leave the world of consuming behind...becoming the lover of love... landing lightly on all we touch...spreading love...

then fly with butterflies...as they pass by...

i am so small in this world of broken things....but on the other side my chest bursts out and light pours in to the night... Approaching...it may appear to be a tragedy for those who stand by and watch... That body i am shedding may even seem the ultimate cost... but today i spread my wings and fly...i have seen the dreams go by..traveling way beyond this sky...to a destination that can not be seen with eyes...They do not seem to know...as my radiator shatters them into a million parts...but it is i... I am the one who weeps as they go by...and slow my car down to a stop...and watch...then turn to fly with butterflies...as they pass... by

I'd just like to say yes too. I believe there are many ways experience "the light". As many as you can think of. For me the key is faith and desire. Not in some preconceived manner. It's like trying to grab feather. Sometimes you just need to open your hand and let the feather fall into your hand. You can't capture it cause it will dissapear. Be like a antenna or something for it to flow through, or for it come to and use. Be innocent as the driven snow and submit your whole self, and it will be offered. As the Daoists say, non-being is being, or do without doing. As the Bible says, open your door and it will come in and eat dinner with you. Loving submission. Submit and you will overcome. Use which ever method fits you best.
