Going totally raw has kicked my butt for a year and a 1/2 now, but I ain't giving up!!!!!!
My breakfast is hot lemonade: large mug of hot distilled water, juice of 1 organic lemon, 1/2 dropper of (liqud) cayenne, pinch of sea salt, sweetened with sorghum molasses or stevia.
Lunch is usually done in a grazing fashion either monofruit or a huge greens salad with sweet or unsweet fruits, things like organic onion, fresh garlic, home made salad dressings w/evoo, tamari, lemon, sweetened or unsweet.
Dinner is usually the opposite of lunch.
For over a year, I ate hummus and the best chips I could find. This satisfied me but neither were raw. I gave that up in September.
I feel like I miss the "crunch" from eating things like corn chips and crackers, but I think it's deeper than the crunch. Most of the crunchy foods are heavy starches that turn into pure sugars in the body. Considering that they are probably made from GMO vegetation they have less minerals and more sugar than what they should have, cook them and they are total JUNK. I'm hooked and I AM working on this problem!!!
I do cheat, frankly, and I'm only hurting myself when I do. I AM working on this problem too.
I drink a quart of Lakewood Farms organic juice each day ... a different one each day.
